Palladium
Catalysts is the most selected and widely used catalysts for many industrial
hydrotreatment (hydroprocessing) operations such as
hydrodeoxygenation, hydrodenitrogenation,
hydrodesulfurization, and hydrodemetalation owing to its
ability to promote various fundamental reactions: oxidative
addition of aryl, heteroaryl and vinyl halides and triflates,
activation of olefinic bonds towards nucleophilic additions
(oxy-, amino- and carbopalladation), activation of carbon
monoxide.
